A. Biodiversity Conservation :  
 

1. Species Conservation Program

 
The northeastern region of India is a home for several endangered and endemic species. Most of these endangered species are of both national and global importance. For effective conservation of these species multifaceted approach is required, like – research, monitoring, conservation infrastructure development, sustainable livelihoods for the natural resource dependents, public interest, political will and conservation awareness and education. The Species conservation program of Dolphin Foundation is aimed to address all these gap areas with special focus on the research, monitoring, conservation education and awareness.
