For effective conservation of these species multifaceted approach is required, like – research, monitoring, conservation infrastructure development, sustainable livelihoods for the natural resource dependents, public interest, political will and conservation awareness and education. The Species conservation Programme of Dolphin Foundation is aimed to address all these gap areas with special focus on the research, monitoring, conservation education and awareness.
